BRIDGES
I-10/Riverside Ave. Interchange, Rialto
BergCM, as Prime, provided construction management, materials testing, construction surveying and landscape construction management services to SANBAG for this $34 million interchange replacement project with Caltrans oversight, funded by state and federal funds and Rialto Redevelopment Agency bonds. Designed to alleviate traffic congestion on the bridge and freeway ramps and reduce air pollution caused by idling vehicles, the project replaced the existing five-lane Riverside Avenue bridge over the I-10 freeway with a nine-lane bridge.
Ocean Blvd./SR-47 Terminal Island Freeway Interchange Project
BergCM provided construction management, project controls coordination of inspection and project controls testing and contract administration for the $25 million construction of the Ocean Blvd./SR-47 Terminal Island Freeway Interchange Project in the Long Beach Harbor District. The project included construction of a grade-separated freeway interchange to accommodate expected increases in through-traffic generated by the Pier T and Pier S developments on Terminal Island.

Harry Bridges Blvd. Buffer Project and Voluntary Street Improvements
As the Construction Manager, Berg CM provided constructability reviews, Construction Management, cost estimating, project controls, safety, SWPPP, and administered the Port of Los Angeles’ air quality program.

Eisenhower Bridge Widening Over Evacuation Channel
BergCM served as Prime construction managers on this $2.5 million project, which completed the City of La Quinta’s arterial program for providing full-width roads within the city across drainages south of SR-111. Project work included the construction of the CIDH Pile, in channel, cast-in-place concrete bridge structure, multiple-stage traffic control and the signalization of one street intersection.

SR-118 Widening Project
BergCM, as Prime Consultant to Caltrans District 7, provided construction management and support services in Ventura County. Services included construction inspection, office engineering and engineering support services.

Madera Rd. Overcrossing
This $3 million project involved the construction of a pre-cast box girder railroad bridge over a depressed roadway and involved interface with railroad live track and coordination with local businesses.

Lincoln Ave. Grade Separation
BergCM served as Prime Consultant and provided resident engineering, inspection and administration services for this $6 million project consisting of a grade separation with A.T.S.F., a cast-in-place post-tensioned vehicular bridge over rail and a separate bridge channel crossing.

Gilbert St. Underpass
This $5 million grade separation project for the City of Fullerton involved storm drain construction, street signalization and interface with local businesses. A pre-cast box girder railroad bridge was constructed over depressed roadway.

Whitewater Wash/Washington St. Bridge Widening
This $24 million bridge widening for the City of La Quinta saw BergCM providing project management, resident engineering and inspection services.

Gypsum Canyon Bridge over the Santa Ana River
This $20 million bridge project for the City of Yorba Linda required interfacing and permit work with Caltrans. BergCM served as Project Manager/Resident Engineer and provided inspection services.

Seaside Ave./Navy Way Grade Separation and Seaside Navy Way/Navy Mole Grade Separation
BergCM was responsible for the field construction management of this $35 million project featuring two grade separations that were built on an accelerated schedule.
