    Owner Agency: Port of Los Angeles. Construction of two grade separations, built on an accelerated schedule, Berg CM was responsible for the field construction management of this $35 million project. Click here for an in depth look into this project.

  • New Dock / Henry Ford Grade Separation & New Dock / Henry Ford. Intersection

    Construction of two grade separations, built on an accelerated schedule, Berg CM served as project manager and also performed the constructability review for this $45 dollar project. Click here for an in depth look into this project.

  • Morena Valley and Stadium Way Light Rail Transit - Metropolitan District Transit Board of San Diego

    Berg CM, as Resident Engineer, in association with O'Brien-Kreitzberg provided Constructability Review Services on all aspects of the post-design, preconstruction phase of the light rail transit projects totaling $90 million connecting Mission Valley to Murphy Station in  San Diego (1994-95). Berg CM participated in an extensive Constructability Review for the projects where Rail required above ground bridges over water and in close proximity to malls, parking structures and major freeway arteries. In addition to scheduling refinements, all plans were reviewed and checked for completeness, against field conditions with recommendations for claims avoidance.

  • Limonite Avenue Grade Separation Project  / Pedley Commuter Rail Station

    Berg CM provided resident Engineer and inspection services for the Country of Riverside and the Riverside County Transportation Commission on these projects totaling $15 million.   • Gypsum Canyon Bridge - City of Yorba Linda

    A $15 million 7 span bridge over the Santa Ana River. Close proximity to the 91   Freeway required interfacing and permit work with Caltrans. Berg CM provided Project Manager / Resident Engineer and inspection. The Contractor was C.C. Myers of Rancho Santa Fe, CA. No claims were associated with this project.

  • Whitewater Wash / Washington Street Bridge - City of La Quinta

    For this bridge widening near the intersection of Highway 111 and Washington Street, Berg CM provided Project Manager / Resident Engineer and Inspection services as subconsultant to DMJM. Total cost: $24 million. No claims were associated with this project.

  • Antonio Parkway Bridge - City of Rancho Santa Margarita

    Antonio Parkway Bridge constructed over the Santa Ana River was completed successfully, on time, within budget and without claims. Contractor was Brutoco of Fontana, CA.
    .

  • Portola Parkway Bridge - County of Orange

    Portola Parkway Bridge over Serrano Creek is located near the Eastern Corridor just off El Toro Road. This project together with Antonio Parkway totaled approximately $5 million. The contractor was R.E. Hazard of San Diego. No claims were associated with this project.

  • Lincoln Avenue Grade Separation - City of Corona

    This $5 million channel crossing required interfacing with A.T.S.F. Berg CM served as subconsultant RE to Willdan and Associates of Anaheim, CA. No claims were associated with this project.

  • Union Avenue Overhead / Chester Avenue Undercrossing - City of Bakersfield

    These projects totaled approximately $5 million each and involved extensive coordination with Railroads Bakersfield requiring a variety of Detour Roads to maintain city traffic flow. No claims were associated with this project.

  • Madera Road Overcrossing - City of Simi Valley
    Brutco was the prime contractor for this grade separation project constructed totaling $3 million. No claims were associated with this project.

  • Gilbery Street Underpass
    This grade separation project was located at/near Gilbert Street and Commonwealth in the $3 million involving extensive storm drain construction. No claims were associated with this project.
